Preschool!

So last Thursday, August 26, 2010, Bailey started her first day of preschool at St Elizabeth Seton. She LOVES school!! We were so proud to see her go...Now all she talks about is her teacher, and the playground, and her friends in class. There are 16 three year old's in class. They go to storytime at the library, play on the playground, and they have snack time. The rest of the time they just play. Then they stand in line against the wall and wait for the parents to pick them up. It's the cutest. Bailey has a backpack that she loves to wear around. Bailey still goes to grammie's house after school while mommy is at work.

I am still working at DSS- Child Protection. I was promoted to a Lead worker this spring so that is exciting! More work! Yay!! :) I am just lucky that I truly love my job. Very few people are that fortunate. Well hope all is well in your life. Loves!

End of summer

So here we are, the end of summer already! Wow! What a summer it has been! Well, even though Josh and I are no longer together, we still get along great and love to spend time with our BEAUTIFUL daughter, Bailey Jaymes. It has been a busy time in regards to her. Not only is she talking better, she is running around EVERYWHERE! She LOVES to eat ice cream and popsicles with daddy, run down the hill with daddy (he is more fun at running than I am), and go to the park and play on the slides! As you can see from her picture, she has to wear an eye patch because she has a lazy eye. But she is cute as a button in it! She does not mind wearing it at all! Whew! She has to wear it for at least two more months. Oh well! Better than her going blind!

Bailey also has to have support for her ankles. She has to have fitted inserts for her shoes to correct her ankles from turning in. But better to do it now!

In May, my friend Beth got married in Huntington Beach, California. My sister Stacey and I were bridesmaids. We had a WONDERFUL time! It was so beautiful down there. You can see our ultra hot pictures to the right! :) ALso while we were in California we got to hit up a Dodgers game. Yay Manny Ramirez!!!!!!!! That was fun too!

Well that has been our summer so far; eye patches, California, slides, swings, ankle braces. Sounds fun huh? Well we hope you are all doing well. Our love to all of you!

Where is spring??

So here it is, April, and still blizzard warnings?? Who else is SO OVER winter?!?!? We are.

Bailey is turning 2 this month. April 18. Wow. Can't believe the two years we have had. We are SO lucky to have SUCH a beautiful daughter who is going through her "terrible two's." At least she is at our house, grandma and grandpa don't report ANY problems with their angel.

Bailey is still in speech therapy, but is progressing nicely. She knows how to say Elmo and Einsteins without any problems, but struggles with mama and dada. Maybe she has nothing to say to us?? She can say mama and dada when ASKED to, but she does not refer to us by mama and dada. Probably refers to us as "those two crazy people who take up space in my house" to her friends.

Josh and I are great! Nothing new to report with us. Looking forward to spring and summer so we an take Bailey to the park and lake and stuff! Even just to run around the back yard!

Take care!!

It's a new year!

Well hello again! I honestly had forgotten that I had a blog until I saw my friend's page (Thanks Kindra). So here we are again. I will be better at updating the page from now on!

So it's a new year and our little girl witll be 21 months in one week. Wow. Can say that she is starting the "terrible twos" already. But she is excelling in everything she is doing.

Bailey is getting physical therapy and occupational therapy every week (rotating) and speech therapy every week. Her PT and OT say that there is nothing more that they can do to help her, as she is doing things at the 24-36 month level. She is so advanced!!! Yay! That's a sigh of relief. Her spech therapist just started working with her, and is blown away by the amount she has learned in a month. Bailey's favorite word is "stein stein" which any member of our family knows means Einstein's (yes I am making her study the theory of relativity). It ALSO stands for Little Einsteins, her FAVORITE show. We're going on a mission, start the count down, 5-4-3-2-1!! Sorry the song gets stuck in my head. She also loves Memo (Elmo), Doe (Dora), and Ba (Barney).

We had a great Christmas, you know who got SPOILED!!! It was fun watching her open presents this year. If only we would have realized that a bowl and a spoon was enough (she LOVES to stir) we would have saved a lot of money!!

Well hope all is well! Take care!

Hello again everyone!

It's been too long! Oops! Well how are things going for all of you? We are doing great! A lot has happened! We have moved back to Rapid City. Back with family and it is great!!

Bailey is doing just AWESOME! She is almost 14 months old now. Her first birthday was April 18. She is 22 pounds now and growing!!! She is crawling and trying to take her first steps. She just got her third tooth yesterday, and she is trying to eat everything! She loves to stare at her fishtank, play with mommy's hair, dance with daddy, and grab the dog's ears. She is learning something new each day and we couldn't be more excited.

I am now working for Child Protection for the Department of Social Services and I love it. A job I went to school for?? Doesn't sound like me!!! But it is going great. Josh is working for the new Casa del Rey, called Casa Real, and at South City Grille and Tavern. Both are doing well for him also.

Well I hope to hear from you all and hope your families are doing well also!!

Love, us

Getting off of caringbridge!

Hey all! Well I thought it was time to get off of caringbridge and let some other families use it. We have loved the site and keeping in touch with all of you so this blog is our way of doing that. I have to learn how to add pictures and stuff but I will so bear with me.

Bailey is doing really well. Had an appt today and she is 10 lb 6 oz. She just keeps growing and growing!! We have to take her back in next week for three shots, pneumonia, flu and RSV. She didnt like the last round of them and I am guessing she wont like the next round any better. But having her mad for an hour is better than having her sick!

Josh and I are great also. I just got a promotion at work so that is exciting! Maybe they DO like me! hee hee. Josh is also being encouraged by his boss to put in his resume for a promotion. So looks like things are going well in our house!! Not so good for our dog Ali though. He has to get neutered in two weeks. Poor boy. Oh well. We dont need any puppies running around. I have three kids at home the way it is (Bailey, Ali and Josh- hee hee). Well hope you are all doing well. Check in often!
